Road to Istanbul-Zidane's Big Challenge against Tuchel

Image
Chelsea and  Real Madrid  ready to recommence the tie of the second leg of their  Champions League  semi-final at Stamford Bridge tonight. The scoreline was 1-1 after 1st leg thanking the brilliant finish by Pulisic and Benzema at  the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano last week. Chelsea earned a crucial away goal but dropped the chance to finish the tie in Madrid as their no. 11 Werner made some trivial mistakes in the final third. Zidane's tactics did not work adequately. His left full-back veteran Marcelo, who captained the side, had no particular position in the field. He was neither a left-back nor a left midfielder; that's why French little dynamite Kante got so much space in his way, which gave the blues ample chances to attack counter.  Zidane can't make what happened in Madrid right. But he is a man of great integrity. he can turn around the result in Stamford Bridge. He earns criticism for not conquering Tuchel's realm for once in his coaching career, tr...

3 Reasons why Man City Reached UCL Final

Image
PSG  failed to end City's unbeaten run in this UCL season last night. Let's find the reasons for being so lethal in the pitch. Here I want to point out 3 specific reasons: 1. Rotation of Players Whole Season Man City made 2 changes in their 1st leg's squad to face PSG in Etihad. Fernandinho and Zinchenko were in replacing Rodri and  Joao. Man City played a single match after the first leg against Crystal Palace, and Guardiola made 8 changes. Fresh pair of legs always makes a difference in the big matches. Guardiola also succeeds in ruling PL by using his deep squad. More concretely, 16 players in his squad played at least 2000 minutes this season so far; surprisingly, Liverpool has only 9 such players. Consequently,'' Big Match, Big Challenge? Solution: Fresh Legs" has been the motto of Pep this season. 2. The Ruben Dias Effect Man City has 5 central defenders in the squad. But Ruben was outstanding. Man City signs him on September'20  on a six-year contra...

Mouth-Watering SF Tonight-PSG's Final Bite vs. City's Resolution

Image
pc: Evening Standard   UEFA Champions League had been the dream of these two newly risen top European clubs as their main economic strength came from the Middle East in this century. PSG reached the final last year, but ''Emphatic Bayern Munich'' was too pure for PSG, especially their 'Sweeper Man' Manuel Nuer, who did just everything sound that evening. On the other hand, Manchester City is playing the first Semi-Final in their history. But they surpassed PSG in Parc Des Princes, especially in 2nd half when KDB and Maharez scored from two set pieces though PSG was leading in the break by the elegance of Marquinhos' header. PSG was below average in the 2nd half, and Gueye's red created a chance for City to end the tie in Paris. However, PSG survived and retained the clean sheet after the red. Tonight, PSG will try to crave this chance, and Ney-Bappe duo will lead their final war this season. They showed better performance away from home. But Man City is ...
